Free State Province, South Africa

The Vaal and Orange Rivers feed into the Free State in the east after flowing through the Northern Cape. Rich in natural resources, this small province boasts stunning open areas and limestone rock faces all of which make the Eastern Free State a must-visit for photographers and naturalists alike.  South Africa’s judiciary capital is found in the capital, Bloemfontein. Mining and farming (sheep, dairy, potato, maize, sunflower seeds, wheat and sorghum) contribute largely to the economy.
